Isaiah Morales has been named the GSAC Baseball Player of the Year.
Morales joins his cousin
Emilio Morales as well as
Ty Beck as All-Conference players for the 2026 season. Beck was also awarded a Gold Glove for his performance in right field this season.
Isaiah Morales was named the best player in the conference "after turning in one of the conference's most balanced offensive seasons," according to the press release issed by the conference. "Morales led the GSAC in batting average at .404 while also pacing the conference in hits and ranking among league leaders in RBI, total bases and home runs, serving as the centerpiece of a potent Mustangs lineup."
Isaiah led theconference with 72 hits while blasting seven home runs and driving in 42. He now ranks second all-time in TMU program history in career batting average at .404.
Emilio Morales hit .337 on the season with 10 home runs and 26 RBI. Though he didn't become a starter until the second half of the season, Emilio became the hottest hitter in the conference over the Mustangs' final 25 games. He hit safely in 21 of his final 25 games, hitting his 10 round trippers over a span of 12 games in the middle of that run. He finished the season ranked third in the conference in home runs.
Beck hit 13 home runs in 2026, tying him for best in the GSAC. he was the only players to start every game for TMU in 2026, hitting .348 with an OPS of 1.090. His team-high 17 doubles ranked him third while his team-high 49 RBI placed him fourth best in conference. He made just one error in right field while collecting 83 put outs and recording a pair of outfield assists.
The second year in a row to be named an All-GSAC player, Beck ends his career second all-time in home runs with 48. He was a 2025 All-American and a 2026 Pre-Season All-American.
