Mission Statement

As athletic trainers at The Master’s University, we are under the Lordship of Christ, who is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, including medical processes. In submission to that Lordship, our mission is to serve the student-athletes of TMU in the following capacities: the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and medical conditions. As allied health professionals, we strive to provide a high level of care for our patients using evidence-based standards. Athletic trainers have the unique privilege of mentoring and guiding their patients as they return to competition from injury, and we take that opportunity as from the Lord. Our staff will conduct themselves in a professional manner in accordance with the standards set forth by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and Master’s.

Staff

All of our staff are certified athletic trainers who are trained to manage any and all athletic injuries and medical conditions. Each have an array of continuing education beyond their ATC credential, such as concussion management, performance enhancement and corrective exercise specialties.
