Chanz Flores, from Linn-Benton Community College and Vancouver, Wash., signed with The Master's University baseball team on Wednesday.

Flores, a right-handed first baseman, is coming off a 2026 campaign in which he hit .272 with three homers and 25 runs batted in. He scored 26 runs as well.

"TMU is a great opportunity that the Lord placed on my heart," Flores said. "It feels like home and I'm excited to get to work."

Flores led Linn-Benton in extra-base hits this past season with 13 and notched a slugging percentage of .412. He was also strong defensively, recording zero errors in the 2026 season.

"He's a tremendous young man with great experience at a top-notch program," TMU Head Coach Monte Brooks said. "He's got really big power at first base. Chanz models biblical attributes as a teammate and has great character on and off the field."

Flores also had a strong .358 on-base percentage and crushed 10 doubles. He joins a Mustang squad that had one of the most potent offensives in the conference in 2026 and will be a key piece to a TMU offense that lost All-American Ty Beck and 2026 GSAC Player of the Year Isaiah Morales to graduation.
