Coury signs to join TMU baseball

Noah Coury, a hard-throwing pitcher out of Renton, Wash., has signed to play for The Master's University baseball in the 2027 season.

Coury, who graduated from Hazen High School, boasts a strong mix, including a fastball that sits in the 90s and has topped out at 96 miles per hour.

"It's exciting for us to get Noah Coury in our program," TMU Head Coach Monte Brooks said. "He's a highly gifted athlete, with a power arm that can light up the radar gun. We are thankful  that the Lord has instilled in this young man a strong desire to develop his God-given skills and play the game for His glory." 

Coury had a strong senior season, including a game in which he went six innings, gave up no hits and struck out 16 batters, while only allowing one walk. He was also tabbed as a All KingCo 4A Honorable Mention as a pitcher and a first baseman. 

"I chose to come to Master's because unlike other universities, I know that Master's has a lot of people that have a love for the Lord," Coury said. "The doctrine here is sound and I know that I will be surrounded by other godly men. It's a place where I can continue to grow in my walk with Christ.
