TMU suffers loss to Royals

The Mustangs baseball team lost to the Hope International Royals 24-1 Friday in Fullerton, Calif.

TMU could only muster three hits that included a solo home run in the top of the ninth by Benji Carrington. It was the sophomore's first collegiate round-tripper.

But the team struck out 17 times in the game.

The two teams will face off in a doubleheader Saturday in Fullerton. First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m.
