The Master's University women's basketball program has announced the commitment of Abagail Beukelman, a 6-foot-3 power forward/center from Edgewood, New Mexico. A member of the class of 2027, Beukelman will join the Lady Mustangs for the 2027-28 season.
Beukelman is a three-year varsity player at Moriarty High School, where she served as a team captain for the Pintos. As a junior in 2025-26, she averaged 6.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.0 steal per game. Across 66 career varsity games, she has averaged 6.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks. A multi-sport athlete, she also plays varsity soccer for Moriarty. She plans to major in political science at TMU.
"Abagail is a talented 6'3" power forward with a strong presence on both ends of the court," said head coach Fonda Wilson. "Her size, versatility, and basketball instincts allow her to be effective in the paint while also contributing in a variety of ways offensively and defensively. She brings a physical presence, high basketball IQ, and a willingness to compete that will be a great addition to our program."
Wilson added, "We are excited to welcome Abagail to The Master's University women's basketball family and are grateful that she has chosen to continue her academic and basketball career with us. We look forward to watching her grow, develop, and make an impact on and off the court for the Lord."
