Savannah Bellig has signed her national letter of intent to continue her soccer career at The Master's University.
Homeschooled in Walnut Creek, Calif., Bellig is a forward with Mustangs Soccer out of Danville which has qualified several times for the state cup.
"I've always played soccer in a non-Christian environment, so one of the main reasons I'm coming to Master's is because of the faith," Bellig said. "I really value faith in a school, so that will be really great to play with like-minded girls."
Mustangs Head Coach Esteban Chavez likes what Bellig can bring to the frontline wing.
"One of the biggest contributions I think Savannah will make to the team is in the wide areas," Coach Chavez said. "I think she will bring a lot of options for us as far as the outside playing because of her ability to beat people one-on-one."
