Tyler Biggs, a 6-3 pitcher from Valencia, Calif., has signed his national letter of intent to continue his baseball career at The Master's University.
Biggs is transferring to TMU from NCAA Division II Oklahoma Baptist after first spending two years at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Calif.
"Tyler brings maturity, high energy and he comes from a successful program," said Mustangs Head Coach
Monte Brooks. "He's got an inner drive, so I'm really excited for him. He's going to be really beneficial."
A First Team All-Foothill League during his time at Valencia High School, Biggs said his initial reason for coming to The Master's was to be closer to home but found another reason that was even more compelling.
"I'm a Christian, so I want to grow in my faith while also being able to find my identity in Christ while also playing baseball," Biggs said. "I have been playing baseball for so long and I almost think it's my identity. So I feel coming here is going to be great to transition my identity to Christ instead of making it about baseball."
