Korbin Hodgson has signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his baseball career at The Master's University.

The infielder from Ripon, Calif. comes to the Mustangs having played at two different junior colleges -- Modesto Junior College and San Joaquin Delta College, where he sat out due to injury.

"He is a very savvy player, has some experience playing junior college baseball, and is a plus-plus defender," said TMU Head Coach Monte Brooks. "He's a very knowledgeable player and a very gritty player. He's going to be a big benefit for us and a good model of consistency."

During his senior season at Ripon High School, Hodgson hit .346 and scored a team-high 31 runs and also legged out a team-high four triples to go with his five doubles.

"I have chosen The Masters University because it is a Christ-centered college that looks to glorify Christ in every aspect," Hodgson said. "I look forward to playing ball with fellow believers who love Christ."
