Middle infielder Aaron Rueda has signed his national letter of intent to play baseball at The Master's University.
A graduate of Gorman Learning Center in Santa Clarita, Calif., Rueda was team captain of the Lions the last two seasons and led the team to its first Omega League title in school history.
"I've always loved baseball and adding the scriptural aspect to the game is something I never thought I'd be doing," Aaron said. "It's awesome."
Rueda led the Omega League in hitting and in home runs.
"Aaron is a great fit for TMU baseball," said Head Coach
Monte Brooks. "His work ethic is admirable and his passion for the game is infectious. He's a versatile infielder, a good student with a desire to grow spiritually has long been a trademark of this homegrown Santa Clarita Valley student athlete."
