Three first-half goals in the span of three minutes were the Mustangs' undoing, as Life Pacific University defeated The Master's University, 4-0, on Tuesday morning in Golden State Athletic Conference men's soccer action.
Â
The game was scoreless until three quickfire goals from the Warriors in the 27th, 28th and 30th minutes gave the home side a commanding first-half lead. Life Pacific (4-2, 2-2) prevented Master's (1-5-1, 0-4 GSAC) from taking a shot until the 52nd minute, when the Warriors were already ahead 4-0 at that point.
Â
Mark Spencer and
Michael Nachfoerg recorded the only shots on the day for the Mustangs in the second half, but neither of them hit the target. Second-half substitute
Kian Bensend recorded four saves in the goal during his 45 minutes of action.

Master's is scheduled to return to the field on March 17 to take on William Jessup University (3-3, 1-1) in Rocklin. Kick-off is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
