Awards:

2023-2024 (Graduate): Became one of the top runners in the NAIA with his 24:03 8000m at the Highlander Invitational... placed fourth at the GSAC XC Championships and earned an All-American award with his 12th place finish at the NAIA XC Championships.

2022-2023 (Senior): Despite dealing with injuries in the beginning of the season, Rush achieved a personal best in Cross Country of over 30 seconds at the Titan Invitational (24:19)... finished fourth at the GSAC XC Championships and 259th at the NAIA XC Championships... set personal bests in the 1500m (5:52), and 5000m (14:24)... finished seventh at the NAIA Outdoor Track Championships in the 5000m.

2021-2022 (Junior): Lowered his 8000m personal best to 24:53 with a fifth place finish at The Master’s University XC Invitational... placed third at the GSAC XC Championships and 55th at the NAIA XC Championships... had a breakout outdoor track season as he qualified for nationals in the 1500m (3:53), 5000m (14:28), and 10,000m (30:37)... defended his title in the GSAC 5000m and finished second in the 1500m... was a member of the 4x800m relay that finished fourth in the 5000m at the NAIA Outdoor Track Championships.

2020-21 (Sophomore): Cross Country… Placed seventh at the GSAC Championships (26:09) to earn All-GSAC honors for the second-straight year… Had his best race at the Pre-Nationals Invitational, finishing second in a time of 25:26.9… Finished 105th at the NAIA Championships (26:19.25)... Track & Field... Won the GSAC title in the 5000 meters in a time of 14:51.66… Finished 26th at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 5,000 meters (15:13.90).

2019-20 (Freshman): Cross Country.... Earned All-GSAC honors by finishing 14th at the GSAC Championships (26:47.9)... Ran a season-best time of 25:16.2 at the UCR 39th Annual Cross Country Invitational.

Golden Valley HS (Santa Clarita, CA): Set the school record in the 3-mile with a time of 14 minutes, 27 seconds ... qualified for the California state cross country meet as a senior in 2018, finishing 54th in a 5K time of 16:05.8 ... finished third place individually at the highly-competitive Foothill League finals as a senior ... posted a 5K PR (15:29.2) at The Master's University XC Invitational on Sept. 29, 2018 ... in track and field, Rush advanced to the CIF Southern Section Division 2 prelims in the 3,200 in 2019 ... finished 15th in prelims with a time of 9:33.12.
