The Master's University women's soccer team extended its winning streak to eight games with a 7-0 shutout of Hope International on Wednesday at Reese Field, improving to 7-1-1 overall and a perfect 5-0 in GSAC play.

Maddy Traylor opened the scoring in the 7th minute off an assist from Bryanna Elias, and Jane Hato made it 2-0 in the 34th minute to send TMU into halftime with a comfortable cushion despite a slight shot disadvantage in the opening half.

The Mustangs took over after the break, scoring five goals in a 33-minute stretch. Traylor struck again in the 49th minute off a Breanna Fajardo assist, and Fajardo answered with a goal of her own nine minutes later, assisted by Katie Trinh. Rachel Snow found the net in the 62nd minute on a feed from Taya Pickup, and less than a minute after that Traylor completed her hat trick, assisted by Snow and Trinh. Fajardo capped the scoring in the 82nd minute for her second of the day.

Traylor finished with three goals, while Fajardo added two goals and an assist. Trinh and Pickup each tallied two assists. TMU out-shot Hope International 23-10 overall, including a 16-4 edge in the second half, with 13 shots on target. Katie Snow and Natalia Ramirez combined for the shutout in goal.

The win extends the Mustangs' streak to eight straight. TMU heads to NAIA No. 5 Embry-Riddle in Prescott, Ariz. on Saturday.
