Senior Trent Rickard scored four goals to lead The Master's University men's soccer team to a 13-1 rout of Life Pacific on Senior Day Saturday at Reese Field.

The Mustangs (4-3-2, 3-1-0 GSAC) exploded for eight goals in the first half alone. Rickard opened the scoring on a penalty kick in the 16th minute and struck again just 25 seconds later. Andrew Sorto followed immediately after with a goal of his own, and TMU never looked back. Jo Yokota, Adiel Kaduya, M.K. Oredi, Zach Bates (penalty kick) and Michael Masimango all found the net before the break.

TMU kept the pressure on after halftime, with Rickard adding a fourth and fifth goal to complete his big day. Zenden Berbari, David Weischedel and Hunter Phelps also scored in the second half for the Mustangs, who finished with 39 shots to Life Pacific's nine.

:It was to have a game where I can play everybody and we can score some goals. It was a great day to have senior day," TMU Head Coach Jim Rickard said. "'Putting everything together in one game is nice. We're looking forward to the next game."

Rickard finished with four goals and two assists, while Sorto and Hunter Phelps each tallied a goal and an assist. Seven different Mustangs found the scoresheet on the afternoon, as Rickard moved into TMU's top 10 all-time goal scorers list.

Life Pacific's lone goal came from Caleb Enriquiz in the 80th minute, snapping a shutout bid split between Franco Barba, Julian Graham and Chris Schlenz in goal for TMU.

The win moves the Mustangs to 2-1-0 in GSAC play as they head into the back half of conference play. TMU is back in action Saturday, Sept. 26, hosting Arizona Christian at Reese Field.
