Sandy Stangs ground Golden Eagles on the beach

The No. 3-ranked Master's beach volleyball team took care of conference opponent La Sierra Tuesday 4-1 in a match played at the Huntington Beach sand courts.

The team got wins from Zoe Yates/Emma Winters, Ashlan Van Groningen and Isabela Rodriguez, Krista Brady/Macy Gebhards, and Kayla Goodwin Arianna DeRaffaele.

"Today was a little rockier than expected, but we pulled through," said TMU Head Coach Annett Davis. "We are continuing to test our fortitude."

The win marks four GSAC victories in a row, and seven of the last nine matches. 

The Master's will be back in Huntington Beach on Friday when they take on No. 5 Hope International. The final game of the regular season will be next Tuesday when the Sandy Stangs host Life pacific at the TMU Beach Volleyball Courts. Game time Tuesday is set for 2:30 p.m.
