The Master's University track and field team set several school records at the Occidental Spring Break Classic and Distance Carnival on Saturday in Los Angeles, Calif.

Several Mustangs did not compete due to sickness, but the Mustang sprint squad had their best meet of the year.

It was the 4x100m relay squads that got the day started with two school records from both the men and the women's teams. The men's team of Elijah Espericueta, Elias Smith, Colin Loveland, and Eli Duhm took down the school record with a mark of 41.92. Espericueta also earned the 100m record in 10.83.

The women's relay of Kailani Chisholm, Olivia Loveland, Joanne Noordham, and Presleigh Adam ran a time of 50.42 to set the fastest time in school history.

In the men's 400m, Hunter Roy and Colin Loveland ran the second and third fastest times in TMU history, with marks of 49.66 and 50.06, respectively. For the women's 400m, Adam and Olivia Loveland ran two top-10 marks as well in school history.

Sidney Clanton threw the No. 7 mark in TMU history in the women's shot put as well.

TMU will compete next at the Bob Larsen Invitational in two weeks time.
