The Master's beach volleyball team, ranked tied at No. 9 in the NAIA Top 10 poll, finished up their Arizona trip with a split against two GSAC teams.

In their morning match, the Sandy Stangs lost 4-out-of-5 matches to the No. 6 OUAZ Spirit. The one win came from the No. 2 team of
Kassidy Wilson and
Violet Avila, defeating Mattea Wilson/Elia Duenas 12-21, 21-19, 15-5.

Then in the afternoon, The Master's (3-3, 2-2 GSAC) defeated the San Diego Christian Hawks 4-1. All four of the wins went to three sets with Wilson/Avila, Kira/Johnson,

"We struggled in our matches today," said Head Coach
Annett Davis. "But we had some solid performances from
Kassidy Wilson and
Violet Avila who won both of their matches. Violet had some amazing digs with some great sets from Kassidy for some end of the match put aways. Even though we struggled, our girls played with heart."

The Master's will be back home on friendly sand on Friday when they host Hope International in a GSAC match at 10 a.m., followed by No. 9 Saint Katherine in a non-conference match at 2 p.m.
