A total of 36 teams and an additional 78 individuals will compete on the men's side, with 36 teams and 90 individuals racing in the women's competition.
The Master's men's team, ranked No. 2 in the most recent NAIA National Top 25 Poll, is making their 13th consecutive appearance in the national championship, tied with three other teams for the longest current streak. The course is the identical course run last month at the Florida State XC Invitational. TMU won that race ahead of 29 other teams, most of which were NCAA Division 1. Individually, Brint Laubach finished second overall and Davis Boggess fifth in that race.
For The Master's women's team, ranked No. 4 in the most recent NAIA poll, they are making their ninth consecutive appearance running for the national title. The team finished seventh in the October race, with Hannah Fredericks taking fourth place individually and GSAC champion Ellen Palmgren 28th.
Both teams won the GSAC championship two weeks ago in Rocklin, Calif. in impressive fashion. The men took five of the top eight spots, including second, third and fourth to win by 3:33 over the closest other team. The women took the top four places and five of the top eight to win by 2:38.
