Incoming TMU Women's Soccer recruit
Kaitlyn Soderstrom is an accomplished defender, but Head Coach
Curtis Lewis could also foresee her playing in the forward line for the Mustangs.
Â
"Kaitlyn is a great mission match and will look to find minutes in our backline," Lewis said. "She also could see some time up top as her 5-foot-8 frame could be very useful as a number nine."

Â
Lewis said he is also excited about Soderstrom's leadership qualities, something the Woodland Hills, California native wants to continue to develop.
Â
"I want to learn and grow as a Christian and continue to discover more about leadership through athletics," Soderstrom said.
Â
As an athlete, the First Team All-League selection and three-time Taft Charter High School MVP said she hopes to bring something new to the team.
Â
"I chose Master's for the environment," Soderstrom said about her decision to attend TMU. "I am extremely excited to explore such a welcoming and loving environment that will allow me to grow in my faith."

The four-year Scholar-Athlete plans to major in communication as she pursues a career in screenwriting or editing.
