TMU Women's Soccer was held scoreless in a 1-0 home defeat to visiting Ottawa University Arizona in Golden State Athletic Conference play on Wednesday morning.
Â
The Spirit scored the game-winner in the 21st minute on a through ball that sent OUAZ in on goal. The Mustangs' defense held firm after that, with freshman goalkeeper
Emy Ramirez recording four saves, but Master's was unable to find an equalizer.
Â
Anay Garcia recorded the Mustangs' lone shot on goal in the 31st minute. Perhaps TMU's best chance of the game came in the 73rd minute off a free-kick service.
Elizabeth Radmilovich and
Hannah Burke had their shots blocked consecutively right in front of the goal from around the top of the six-yard box.
Â
Master's was then able to put in a couple quality crosses, but the visitors prevented the Mustangs from registering a shot for the rest of the game.

TMU (5-5-2 overall, 2-3-1 GSAC) is set to conclude its conference regular season on Thursday morning against Arizona Christian University (2-8, 1-4). Kick-off on Reese Field is scheduled for 10 a.m.
