Dominant second half leads TMU Men's Basketball to win

The Master's University men's basketball team rode a dominant second half performance, outscoring West Coast Baptist College by 29 points after halftime, as the Mustangs defeated the Eagles in Lancaster on Tuesday night, 93-59.
 
TMU held a five-point lead going into the locker room, 44-39, but limited West Coast Baptist to just 20 points in the second half on 28.6% shooting. Meanwhile, the Mustangs shot 59.0% overall for the game, including 12-23 (52.2%) from 3-point range.
 
Davian Brown led all scorers with 22 points, while Caden Starr poured in a career-high 21. Kaleb Lowery recorded his fifth double-double of the season, recording 16 points and 11 rebounds.
 
Brown hit five 3-pointers, while Starr made four and Albert Matute knocked down a couple.
 
With the win, Master's improves to 14-3 overall on the season. The Mustangs are scheduled to return to the court next on Friday at 7:00 p.m., when TMU begins a back-to-back set with San Diego Christian in Golden State Athletic Conference action.
