The 11th-ranked team in the NAIA earned its 11th-straight win to start the 2021-22 season, as TMU Women's Basketball defeated Life Pacific University on Saturday evening, 78-27.

"We're trying to build on each game and set goals to help us continue to grow together as a team," Master's Head Coach
Lisa Zamroz said. "I was happy with our effort to run the floor, which got us going offensively."

Both teams traded baskets in the early going, before Master's finished the first half on a 48-8 run to take a 55-14 halftime lead. The Mustangs' 55 first-half points, aided by a 56.4% shooting clip and 41.2% mark from 3-point range, are the most they have scored in a half this season.

TMU then outscored LPU by 10 points in the second half, extending its 41-point halftime advantage to a 51-point margin of victory.

Stephanie Soares continued her double-double streak, tallying 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Allyson Pettit added 12 points, while
Madeline Cooke made it three Mustangs in double figures with 11.

Four other TMU players scored at least eight points –
Ella Brubaker (nine points, seven rebounds),
Rebekah Throns (eight points, 10 rebounds),
Lexi Hernandez (eight points, nine rebounds) and
Giani Wimbish-Gay (eight points, three steals).

Master's will look to continue its unbeaten start to the season on Thursday with a 5 p.m. home match against University of Redlands.
