2019 (Senior): The team's defensive captain and libero, Hafner played in 108 sets and paced the club in digs for the third consecutive season with 481 (eighth in the GSAC)…posted 27 double-digit dig outings, highlighted by a career-high-tying 34 digs at Hope International on Oct. 19…her 1,590 career digs rank her third in program history…had 21 aces…her 112 career aces are tied for 10th in school history…named a GSAC Scholar-Athlete for the second year in a row.
2018 (Junior): Giving her self up for the sake of the team, the third-year libero led the club with a career-best 526 digs (4th in the GSAC) … had season-highs of 33 digs and eight assists vs. Westmont in the GSAC Tournament championship match on Nov. 10 … recorded double figures in digs in 28 other matches, including 30 vs. Lindsey Wilson (KY) on Sept. 1 … set personal-highs by playing in 129 sets, posting 141 assists and serving 42 aces … equaled a season-best with eight assists at Hope International on Oct. 19 … served a season-high four aces vs. the University of St. Katherine on Sept. 13 and at San Diego Christian nine days later … proved herself in the classroom and was named a GSAC and NAIA Scholar-Athlete ... her 1,109 career digs by season's end rank her 9th all-time at Master's.
2017 (Sophomore): The club’s primary libero left everything on the floor in her sophomore season while notching a team-high 449 digs … she highlighted the seventh-highest, single-season total in program history with a career-high 34 digs vs. Arizona Christian on Oct. 26 … had eight other matches with 20 or more digs.
2016 (Freshman): One of seven Mustangs to play in 100 sets, she put together a solid freshman season, finishing second on the team in service aces with 27 … had four matches with three aces … recorded 134 digs, highlighted by 10 apiece vs. William Jessup on Sept. 10 and Arizona Christian a week later.
Yucaipa HS (Yucaipa, Calif.): Four-year varsity player ... first team All-Citrus Belt League (junior and senior) ... second team all-CBL (sophomore) ... honorable mention all-CBL (freshman) ... two-time team captain ... four-time Student-Athlete Award winner (earning a 3.5 or above while playing a sport).
Personal: Full name is McKenna Deeann Hafner ... parents are Timothy and Juli ... siblings are Genna, Patti, Zach, Seth and Jake ... as for choosing Master's, she said she hoped to "grow as an individual and with my team in both athletics and in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ."
