Highlights:
  • Vince enters his sixth season as Mustangs head coach in 2019 after leading Master's to the program's first-ever Golden State Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles last season. 
  • He holds 99 career wins at Master's entering the season. 
  • Team has won at least 19 matches in four of Vince's five seasons. 
  • Mustangs have produced at least one NAIA All-American in each season of his tenure. 
  • Prior to coming to TMU, Vince served for three seasons as the assistant men's volleyball coach at California Baptist University in Riverside, Calif. He joined head coach Wes Schneider's staff after having served as the interim head coach for CBU during the 2012 season.
  • As an athlete, Vince played three seasons for legendary coach Al Scates at UCLA and helped lead the team to a second-place NCAA National Championship finish in 2005. Vince was also an all-conference selection.
  • After graduating from UCLA, Vince joined the USA Men's National Team, training under Olympic gold medalist coach Hugh McCutcheon. Along with his involvement on the men's national team, Vince competed in professional leagues overseas in Latvia (Riga Lase-R 2008), Argentina (Rosario Sonder 2007) and Puerto Rico (Mayaguez 2006). Vince was a member of the Professional Beach Volleyball Association from 2006-2007.
  • Vince served as head coach for the San Marino High School girl's volleyball team for three seasons. He has also been an instructor in Al Scates' UCLA Bruin Volleyball Camp since 2003.
  • In 2004-2005, Vince served as an assistant coach at Grace Brethren High School (Simi Valley, Calif.) and helped lead the Lancers to their first CIF title. He also coached at his alma mater, South Pasadena High School (2005-08), where he is a member of the school's Hall of Fame. There he helped lead the team to three consecutive league titles and a second-place finish in the CIF Playoffs.
  • Coached at Pasadena City College in 2006 and co-directed the Formula One volleyball club in Pasadena from 2008-11.
  • involved with Athletes in Action, having joined a semi-professional volleyball team on a trip to Brazil in the summer of 2010.
  • In the summer of 2013, Vince served as first assistant on the U.S. Men's National Volleyball team for the Pan-American Games held in Mexico City, Mexico.
