COACHING AND ATHLETIC CAREER
  • Hill enters her 13th season as a Mustang assistant in 2021, as arguably the most accomplished track & field coach currently serving within the ranks of the NAIA.
  • She competed at the 1984, 1988 and 1992 Olympics in the 400-meter run and as part of the 4x400 relay.
  • She won three medals in the 4x400, highlighted by a gold at the 1984 Los Angeles Games and including a silver at the 1988 Seoul Games when her team set the American record.
  • Hill also qualified for the 1980 Moscow Olympics as a 15-year-old, but did not get to compete after the United States boycotted the Olympic Games that year.
  • She graduated from Cal State Los Angeles in 1987 with a degree in business administration and a certificate in entrepreneurship.
  • At Master's, Hill has been instrumental in the development of the sprints and trains both the men's and women's events up to the 800 meters.
  • She has worked with such athletes as Seanna Nalbandyan (3x NAIA All-American in the 400 hurdles), Kevin Lawson (AA in the triple jump), Ayla Draper (AA in the 400 hurdles) and Andrew Sanchez (Golden State Athletic Conference champion in the 400).
  • Hill also serves at College of the Canyons as an assistant sprints coach.
