Awards:

• GSAC Offensive Player of the Week (Feb. 22, 2021)

2020 (Sophomore): Played in all 14 games and made 12 starts for the Mustangs… Contributed offensively by scoring her first collegiate goal in a win at William Jessup (Feb. 15)... Also recorded an assist during that game, setting a career-high three points, earning GSAC Offensive Player of the Week honors… Scored her second goal of the season in a GSAC game at Arizona Christian… Ranked third on the TMU team with five points... Participated in a total of 809 minutes throughout the season.

2019 (Freshman): First-year defender played in 21 of the club’s 22 matches and started in three of those…played a season-high 51 minutes vs. Menlo on Oct. 12…scored two points on a couple of assists…her first collegiate point came in the Mustangs’ 7-0 win over Providence on Sept. 9 and her second assist of the year led to an insurance goal in a 3-1 victory over Menlo in a GSAC Tournament quarterfinal match on Nov. 9.

Sunnyside HS (Tucson, AZ): Named a 6A All-Star by AllSportsTucson.com in 2017 and 2018. 

Personal: Full name is Anay Navarrete Garcia ... mother is Juanita ... siblings are Jesus, Janeth and Katherine ... said she chose Master's because "I felt as if it was the path God chose for me. I wanted to become stronger in my faith while advancing my academic career."
