2019-20 (Sophomore): Found a way to take her already elite game to another level on the way to NAIA Division I Player of the Year and multiple other honors…voted WBCA NAIA Player of the Year and earned her second All-GSAC honor…led the nation in rebounding (423, 13.6 rpg), defensive rebounding (326, 10.5 rpg), blocked shots, (151, 4.9 bpg), and double-doubles (24)…tied for the top spot with three triple-doubles…finished second in the country in scoring (642, 20.7 ppg), and was fourth in field goal percentage (61.5%)…named the GSAC's Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season…established single-season program marks for scoring average (20.7 ppg), field goals made (257), field goal percentage (61.5), and rebounding average (13.6 rpg)…scored in double figures 30 times, highlighted by a career-high 35 points against Westmont in the GSAC tournament championship game on March 7 when she went 16-of-19 from the field, including 3-of-4 from behind the arc…scored 20 or more points 17 other times…finished with 25 double-digit rebounding outings, highlighted by a season-high 24 rebounds at Westmont on Jan. 18…chosen NAIA Division I Player of the Week on Dec. 10…selected GSAC Player of the Week six times (Dec. 9 & 16, Jan. 13 & 20, and Feb. 3 & 10)…after just two years, she’s the program’s all-time leader in blocked shots (324) and rebounding average (13.5 rpg), No. 2 in scoring average (18.3 ppg), field goal percentage (59.3%), and rebounds (893), and she's No. 7 in field goals (502).

2018-19 (Freshman):  First-year player lived up to her billing as one of the premier young posts in the country with a sensational season that ended with multiple postseason honors…led the nation in rebounding (470, 13.4 rpg), blocked shots (173, 4.9 bpg), and a jaw-dropping 29 double-doubles…set single-season program records for rebounds, rebounding average, and blocked shots…scored in double figures 32 times, including a 27-game streak…tallied a season-high 30 points vs. William Jessup on Jan. 3…scored 20 or more points six other times…pulled down 10 or more rebounds in a game on 29 occasions…had a season-high 26 rebounds vs. Westmont in the GSAC Tournament championship game on Mar. 2…solidified her choice as a NAIA first-team All-American during three games of the national tournament when she averaged 13.3 ppg and 16.7 rpg…blocked a season-high 10 shots in her collegiate debut at Montana Tech on Nov. 6…had five or more blocks in a game 18 other times…chosen GSAC Player of the Year and GSAC Defensive Player of the Year…selected GSAC Player of the Week three times (Jan. 7, 21, and 28).

Brazilian National Team: Competed for Brazil's senior national team in a pre-Olympic qualifier this summer in Colombia. 

Mount Baker HS (Deming, Wash.): ESPN rated her as a 5-star prospect with a 96 scouts grade ... the sports media giant ranked her at No. 10 at her position in the country ... led Mount Baker to a Washington Class 1A state title in 2017 ... was selected to the all-tournament team and scored 12 points in the title game.

Personal: Full name is Stephanie Carmen Soares ... parents are Rogerio and Susan ... siblings are Tim, Jessica, Tiago and Rebecca ... Jessica plays for TMU women's basketball ... Tim plays for TMU men's basketball ... Rogerio played for TMU men's basketball in the 1990s ... Susan was the national Gatorade Basketball Player of the Year as a high school senior in 1986 and went on to play at the University of Texas ... Stephanie said she chose Master's so she could play "for a team and coach that honor God. As a Christian, I know that God is the most important person in my life and having a relationship with Him is essential in life. My desire is to play basketball, grow in my faith by increasing my Bible knowledge and earn a college degree."
