2020-21 (Senior): Selected to the All-GSAC Team… The experienced forward continued being a key piece for the Mustangs playing and starting in all 12 games of the season… Averaged the most minutes on the team (33)... Scored an average of 10 points per game… Led the team in assists with 2.8 per game... Ranked second on the team with 8.1 rebounds per game… Shot 39% from the field, 29% from 3-point territory, and 82% from the free-throw line… Scored a career-high 21 points at OUAZ on Jan. 22… Scored at least 10 points in six games… Completed three double-doubles: at OUAZ (21 pts,11 reb), versus Arizona Christian (17 pts,12 reb) and at San Diego Christian (12 pts,12 reb).
2019-20 (Junior): Put together another solid, all-around season on the court, excelling on the glass and with the pass…finished second on the team with 159 rebounds and was third with a career-high 83 assists…had five rebounds or more in a game 18 times…hauled down a season-high nine rebounds three times: at OUAZ on Dec. 7, at Life Pacific on Jan. 25, and vs. Menlo on Feb. 6…handed out a career-high-tying seven assists vs. St. Katherine on Dec. 12…scored in double figures three times, featuring a season-high 12 points vs. Southeastern (FL) on Nov. 1.
2018-19 (Sophomore): One of the Mustangs' best all-around players, Throns was a critical part of the Mustangs' lethal zone defense and a solid contributor on offense... averaged 4.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game... helped the Mustangs hold opponents to 50.5 points per game, the fewest in the country...scored a season-high 10 points on two occasions: vs. the University of St. Katherine on Feb. 12 and against Vanguard University on Feb. 23...pulled down a season-high 13 rebounds against Westcliff University on on Nov. 16.
2017-18 (Freshman): Earned a spot in the regular rotation in her first year in the program and responded with quality production … scored in double figures four times, highlighted by a season-high 18 points vs. St. Katherine on Jan. 16 when she also notched a double-double with a season-best 16 rebounds … had one more double-double, going for 13 points and 10 rebounds at La Verne on Nov. 30 … pulled down the second-most rebounds on the squad and posted 10 games with five or more boards … handed out a season-high seven assists in her TMU debut vs. Lewis-Clark St. on Nov. 3 … had a season-best seven steals at La Verne on Nov. 30.
Before Master's: Fourth place at the U20's Australian National Tournament (2017).
Personal: Full name is Rebekah Lois Throns ... parents are Paul and Christine ... siblings are Bethany, Joshua, Hannah, Leah, Timothy, Sarah, Deborah and Esther ... Hannah plays for TMU women's basketball ... said she chose Master's because "I wanted to be coached by Christians whose main goal would be to use basketball as a platform to spread the gospel and bring glory to God."
