2020-21 (Senior): The experienced center had an outstanding season, playing in all 12 games and making 11 starts… Averaged 25 minutes and 8.1 points per game… Led the team in rebounds, averaging 9.3 per game (third in the GSAC)… Ranked first on the TMU team with 14 total blocks throughout the season… Ranked third in the GSAC shooting 53% from the field… Scored at least 10 points in four games… Recorded at least 10 rebounds in seven games… Completed four double-doubles in five games from Jan. 22 to Feb. 6: at OUAZ on Jan. 22 (10 pts,10 reb), versus Arizona Christian on Jan. 30 (12 pts,11 reb), versus William Jessup (20 pts, 14 reb) on Feb. 5 and again versus William Jessup (11 pts,13 reb) on Feb. 6.

2019-20 (Junior): Played in 21 games in her junior season…just missed a double-double on Nov. 23 vs. Our Lady of the Lake (TX), scoring a season-high nine points and taking down 10 rebounds…took down a season-best 13 rebounds vs. St. Katherine on Dec. 12…collected a season-high two steals at the University of Antelope Valley on Dec. 2.

2018-19 (Sophomore): Showed improvement and greater confidence on both ends of the floor during her second season…scored six points and had six rebounds in the season-opener vs. Montana Tech on Nov. 6…recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds vs. St. Katherine on Feb. 12…took down a season-high 12 rebounds vs. Life Pacific on Jan. 19…came up big against No. 12 Vanguard in a GSAC Tournament semifinal on Mar. 1, scoring 11 points in 11 minutes and taking down five rebounds.

2017-18 (Freshman):  First-year post experienced the usual ups and downs transitioning to college ball but showed marked improvement along the way … scored in double figures three times, with a season-high 13 points coming against St. Katherine on Jan. 16 … notched two double-doubles, going for 10 points and a season-high 14 rebounds vs. San Diego Christian on Jan. 13 and then posting 13 points and 10 boards three days later against St. Katherine … had five points, 10 rebounds, and a season-best four blocked shots vs. La Sierra on Nov. 7.

Mount Baker HS (Deming, Wash.): Led the Mountaineers to a Washington Class 1A state title in 2017.  

Personal: Full name is Jessica Marcia Soares ... parents are Rogerio and Susan ... siblings are Tim, Stephanie, Tiago and Rebecca ... Stephanie plays for TMU women's basketball ... Tim plays for TMU men's basketball ... Rogerio played for TMU men's basketball in the 1990s ... Susan was the national Gatorade Basketball Player of the Year as a high school senior in 1986 and went on to play at the University of Texas ... said she chose Master's because "I knew I would get the best professors. I'm excited for the spiritual growth I will have at Master's."
