Coaching and Playing Career
  • Zamroz completed her second season as TMU Women's Basketball head coach in 2022-23 and now has an overall record of 49-14. The team reached its second consecutive Golden State Athletic Conference tournament appearance under her leadership.
  • In her first season as head coach, the Lady Mustangs reached the NAIA National Championship quarterfinals after winning the GSAC Tournament title and being crowned NAIA Opening Round Newhall Bracket champions.
  • The Lady Mustangs went 32-4 in 2021-22, setting a new program record for wins and starting the season a program-best 22-0.
  • She coached Stephanie Soares to her second NAIA Player of the Year award and third GSAC Player of the Year/GSAC Defensive Player of the Year honor.
  • Regarding her coaching philosophy, Zamroz said: "Successful coaches combine character and competency. I believe professional diligence and preparedness, united with exemplary character and intentional discipleship, puts players in the very best position to succeed athletically and to grow into all that the Lord has called them to be on and off the court."
  • Her previous coaching experience includes serving as the lead assistant coach at Oklahoma Christian University from 2011-16 and as a TMU assistant coach in 2019-20.
  • During her five years at OC, she helped the Eagles transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II, leading OC to the Heartland Conference Tournament in its first season of NCAA eligibility.
  • Before completing that transition, her Eagles' teams won back-to-back NCCAA regional titles.
  • With the Mustangs in 2019-20, TMU was ranked No. 1 in the NAIA for the first time in program history and won a program-record 29 games.
  • As a player, she played two seasons at Oklahoma Christian, where as a senior in 2010 she earned All-Sooner Athletic Conference Third Team honors and reached the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Championship.
  • She started at shooting guard during her two seasons at OC, which came after two seasons at TMU in which she started as the Mustangs' point guard.
  • She graduated Cum Laude from Oklahoma Christian with a Bachelor of Science in Sports, Wellness and Recreation Management.
  • Zamroz is married to Brett Zamroz (TMU ’09) and the couple has three children - Griffin (5), Boston, (3), and Brielle (6 mo.).
