Coaching and Playing Career
Dylan Flannery is entering his 5th season as Head Strength Coach at The Master’s University, where he leads performance training for Men’s and Women’s Track & Field, Soccer, Swim & Dive, Indoor and Beach Volleyball, and Women’s Basketball. During his time at TMU, he’s helped develop multiple NAIA All-Americans, national champions, GSAC champions, and Players of the Year.
He played linebacker at Adams State University, earning his degree in Human Physical Performance Education. In addition, through the NSCA, he’s a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and holds several other credentials in strength and conditioning such the PES, CES and FNS from NASM, just to name a few.
Before TMU, Dylan served as Head Strength Coach for Pierce College Football (2017–2019) and trained professional athletes at Proactive Sports Performance in Westlake, working with names like Aaron Rodgers, Christian Yelich, and Joakim Noah.
Though his dream was to play in the NFL, injuries from overtraining and a life apart from Christ redirected his path. Today, he’s passionate about helping athletes grow, not just physically, but in character and faith. Whether it’s chasing records or deepening their walk with God, Dylan’s mission is to push athletes toward purpose and excellence.
He and his beautiful wife, Julianna, have two daughters and a son.
