2017 (Senior): Earned his first NAIA All-American honor and his third straight All-Golden State Athletic Conference award ... helped Master's win its eighth straight conference title ... finished third individually at the GSAC Championships (25 minutes, 3.8 seconds) on Nov. 4 ... placed 26th (25:17.5) at NAIA nationals on Nov. 18 ... posted season-best time of 25:00.8 on Oct. 21 at the Warrior Invitational ... named both a GSAC and Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete for the second straight year ... competed in six races, his best time (25:00.8) coming at the Warrior Invitational on Oct. 21. 

2016 (Junior): Finished 10th (25:14.8) at GSAC Championships on Nov. 5, helping Master's secure its seventh straight conference title ... earned second straight All-GSAC honor ... placed 274th at NAIA nationals (27:34.7) on Nov. 19 ... named both a GSAC and Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete ... competed in six races, his best time coming at GSAC Championships.

2014 (Freshman): Finished 23rd (28:18.80) at GSAC Championships on Nov. 8, with Master's earning its fifth consecutive conference crown ... placed 196th at NAIA nationals (27:13.00) ... competed in seven races, with his best time coming at the Bronco Invitational on Oct. 18 (26:19.9).

Homestead HS (Fort Wayne, Ind.): Competed at the Indiana High School Athletic Association State Cross Country Championships in 2012 and 2013 ... 12th in the 4x800 relay at IHSAA outdoor state championships (2013) ... seventh in 4x800 relay at IHSAA outdoor state championships (2014). 

Personal: Full name is Skyler Eugene Mikesell ... parents are Darrin and Kyong ... sibling is Sunni ... as for choosing Master's, he said, "I was excited about Master's after having an official visit to the campus. I'm from Indiana so I had to have a time where I could fly out to the school. Coach Schroeder blew me away and I knew he would be an excellent coach and mentor for me for the next few years of my adult life. The campus felt right and I felt God was calling me to a school far away from home."
