2018 (RS-Freshman): Played in four games during his first season of collegiate competition … his assist vs. UC Merced on Sept. 1 was his lone point of the season.

2017 (Redshirt): Did not play.

The King's Academy (Woodstock, Ga.): Two-time GICAA State Champion ... two-time GICAA All-Region Team selection ... two-time GICAA All-State Team selection ... two-time team captain ... two-time Georgia Club Soccer State Cup Finalist with Concorde Fire Elite ... also played two seasons of varsity basketball.

Personal: Full name is Samuel Timothy Johnston ... parents are Daniel and Shelby ... siblings are Danny and Hannah ... said he chose Master's because "I knew I wanted to go to college somewhere that I could obtain a great education while developing as a soccer player and as a follower of Christ. On my first visit, I saw that is exactly what I could get at TMU. I saw a team led by Coach Rickard that took soccer very seriously but took their relationships with God and growth as followers of Christ more seriously."
