2017 (Senior): One of the club’s most valuable reserves, the senior midfielder played in a career-high 19 matches…took seven shots, four of those on goal.

2016 (Junior):  Continued his upward trajectory as a valuable reserve in the midfield…played in 15 games…scored his lone goal of the season vs. San Diego Christian on 10/1/2016.

2015 (Sophomore):  Started in all 17 games he played in, taking on a key role in the midfield where he controlled tempo at times while tallying three points…scored his only goal of the season in a 3-2 Mustang win over the University of Great Falls on 8/21/15…assisted on a goal in a 6-0 whipping of Arizona Christian on 10/1/15.

2014 (Freshman):  First-year midfielder played in thirteen matches, starting one of those…scored his first collegiate goal in a 2-1 loss to Marymount on 8/26/14.

American School of Kuwait (Kuwait City, Kuwait): KSAA Kuwait Varsity Soccer Champions (2012, 2013, 2014) ... ISAC Varsity Soccer Middle East Champions (2012, 2013, 2014 ... AUK High School Soccer Tournament (2014 champions; 2013 runners-up). 

Personal: Full name is Joseph David Hess ... parents are David and Natalie ... sister is Emily ... said he chose Master's because "I was attracted to the Christ-centered soccer program competing in the difficult Golden State Athletic Conference. From the first time I spoke with Coach Rickard, I knew that he led a program that was all about Christ and succeeding on the soccer field for God's glory."
