Brett Croft

Coaching and Playing Career
  • Croft completed his seventh season as an assistant coach with TMU men's soccer in 2021. 
  • Attended TMU, earning a bachelor’s degree in pre-physical therapy. 
  • Played four seasons for Coach Rickard's Mustangs, serving as a captain as a junior and senior.  
  • Was also named to the All-Golden State Athletic Conference team in each of his final two seasons. 
  • Was a two-time All-California Interscholastic Federation selection at Oak Hills High in Hesperia, California, where he led the Bulldogs to back-to-back CIF finals appearances, as well as a state final.
  • Croft was the Mojave River League Player of the Year as a senior.
  • Played for the Southern California Seahorses in the Premier Developmental League during the summer before his sophomore year at TMU.
  • Was a member of the Santa Clarita Storm in the National Premier Soccer League for two seasons, leading the team in goals and assists both seasons. 
  • Signed his first professional contract in the summer following his senior season at Master's, joining Melleruds IF in Sweden's third division. 
  • Scored seven goals in 10 games in the quest to help Melleruds IF avoid relegation. 
  • Recently earned his master's degree in business administration through TMU.
  • Currently playing for HD Elite in the United Professional Soccer League, currently leading the team in goals and assists.
  • Along with coaching at TMU, Croft is currently the head coach for the Hart High School girls' soccer team and head coach of the FFSC Croft G05, G04 and G08 youth club teams.
  • He also serves as the associate head coach of the Santa Clarita Blue Heat, who just won the 2021 national championship of the United Women's Soccer League.
