2020-21 (Graduate): Participated in four tournaments, playing 12 rounds, while recording two top-10 and one other top-12 finish… Tied for fifth at five-over in the TMU Spring Invite, helping the Mustangs claim the team title… Finished seventh at the GSAC Championships (+9, 222)… Fired a 15-over 231 (T-12) at the Vanguard Fall Invitational… Named a GSAC Scholar-Athlete.
2019-20 (Senior): Saw action in six tournaments and 17 rounds, recording one top-10, two other top-20’s and two under-par rounds overall… Achieved his best performance at the Westmont Invitational, tying-for-fifth place and helping the TMU team win the Tournament… Placed 14th at the Lake Tahoe Intercollegiate and tied-for-18th at the CA State Intercollegiate… Named a GSAC and NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
2018-19 (Junior): Junior player participated in seven tournaments, playing a total of 19 rounds…shot a season-best 3-over 213 at the Battle at Primm, Mar. 18 and 19…shot a season-low, 5-under 65 during the second round of that same tourney…birdied 49 rounds during the course of the season and produced one eagle, that coming at the GSAC Men’s Championship, April 15-17…led the squad with a ninth-place finish at the Minot State Invitational, March 8 and 9.
2017-18 (Sophomore): Second-year player participated in eight tournaments, playing a total of 22 rounds…shot a season-best round of even-par 71 and an overall 8-over 221 at the season-opening U.C. Ferguson Classic, Sept. 11-12 ... saved his best performance for last when he finished 17th at the NAIA Association of Independent Institutions Championship (Apr. 30-May 1) with a 14-over 230.
Whittier Christian HS (La Habra, Calif.): Helped team earn a league championship in 2013 ... named second-team all-league (2013) ... first-team all-league selection (2014, 2015) .... individual CIF postseason qualifier (2014, 2015).
Personal: Full name is Karsten James Briley ... parents are Dennis and Faithe ... brother is Mitchell ... said he chose Master's "because of its firm foundation in scripture and Christ, which will allow me to grow in my relationship with God. Also, I love the Christian atmosphere and the chance to play for an excellent golf program."
