Biography

2018:  His success on the mound down the stretch last year paved the way for being named part of the starting rotation this season…the only senior pitcher with big-game experience…expected to challenge hitters and take his team deep into games…has the opportunity to showcase leadership skills both on and off the field…an enthusiastic and vibrant player.
 
2017:  Although he scuffled at the plate, the junior made a much-needed impact on the mound…tied for second on the club with 22 appearances, the first 13 out of the bullpen…with ace Jason Karkenny down with arm problems, the righthander stepped in and started six games down the stretch…was third on the staff in strikeouts (68) and tied for third in wins (6)…notched his first collegiate win with five innings of four-hit, shutout ball vs. Arizona Christian on 3/25/17…tossed a complete-game, five-hitter against Menlo on 4/8/17 to even his record at 3-3…pitched a gritty 3.1 innings of relief vs. Vanguard on 5/9/17 to keep the Mustangs alive in the GSAC Tournament while notching his fifth victory.

2016: In reduced playing time in his sophomore season, he played in 16 games…went 2-3 against Claremont on 2/9/16…recorded a season-high six putouts vs. Providence Christian on 4/16/16.
 
2015:  The first-year player impressed the coaching staff with his versatility and his production at the plate and in the field…hitting mostly as a designated hitter, he had three games with two or more hits, including a season-high three hits vs. William Jessup on 4/10/15…went 2-3 and drove in a season-high four runs against Vanguard on 3/7/15…recorded a season-best six putouts vs. Claremont on 2/3/15.
