2019 (Junior): Started all 42 games he played in, 39 of those at second base, and put together his best campaign yet…set career highs in batting average, runs scored, doubles, triples, RBIs, slugging percentage, and on-base percentage…recorded eight multi-hit games…rapped out a season-high three hits twice: vs. Arizona Christian on Feb. 23 and vs. Bethesda on April 4…scored two runs in a game four times…drove in two runs in a game on six occasions.
2018 (Sophomore): Earned the starting job behind the plate out of training camp and thrived...threw out 10 baserunners and was second on the squad with 269 putouts...had six games with 10 or more putouts and recorded a season-high 14 vs. Hope International on April 6...threw out a season-high four baserunners vs. Hope International on April 30...saw some action at second and third base, respectively, and participated in four double plays...established career-highs in every offensive category...was hit by a pitch a club-high 14 times and was the team leader with 13 sacrifices...had two or more hits in a game eight times and had a trio of three-hit outings...hit a walk-off, two-run homer and drove in a career-high five runs vs. Arizona Christian on March 9.
2017 (Freshman): Expected to see most of the time behind the plate, the freshman showed his versatility by making 22 starts at second base…produced four, two-hit games and drove in a season-high two runs against St. Katherine on 3/4/17…showed patience at the plate with 11 walks…went 2-4 with an rbi and a run scored vs. Science & Arts of Oklahoma in a first-round NAIA World Series game on 5/26/17.
Horizon HS (Scottsdale, AZ): A four-year starter behind the plate, he led the Huskies to a couple (2014 & 2015) of Division I Section III championships…a two-time defensive player of the year for the club, he was selected team captain in his senior season (2016) and won the club’s Ironman award…he was a Division I Section II second-team all-section choice in 2015.
Personal: Full name is Ryan Andrew Bricker ... parents are Eric and Jill ... siblings are Lauren and Adam ... said he chose Master's because "it's a home away from home and because of the people I'll be surrounded by."
