2019 (Senior): TMU's all-time hits leader capped a consistent and productive career with another solid year at the plate and in center field…hit leadoff in 39 of the 51 games he played in…finished second on the team with 54 runs scored and 24 walks, and third with 58 hits…scored two or more runs in a game 14 times, including three on five occasions…had 16 multi-hit games, highlighted by a 4-4 performance vs. Bethesda on April 5…went 10-20 in a five-game stretch from Feb. 9-16…drove in two runs five times and had eight RBI in a five-game span from April 4-12…led all outfielders with 98 putouts…finished his career as the program’s all-time leader in at-bats (843) and hits (265), second in walks (137), third in triples (11) and hit by pitches (30), and fourth in runs scored (196).
2018 (Junior): One of the premier centerfielders in the NAIA overcame a slow start to string together a fine junior season at the plate and in the field…the club’s ironman started all 53 games, marking the second year in a row he has not missed a start…has started 174 of a possible 176 games over three collegiate seasons…led the club in at-bats (192) and was second in hits (55), triples (3), walks (29), and stolen bases (12)…had 16 multi-hit outings, including a 4-5 effort vs. Hope International on April 30…laced three hits in a game four times…scored two or more runs in a game eight times…crossed the plate a season-high three times at San Diego Christian on Feb. 3…drew a season-best three walks in a game twice…put together a mid-season, 13-game hitting streak during which he batted .400 (22-55)…had four or more putouts in a game eight times, highlighted by five vs. Menlo on Feb. 10 and Hope International on Feb. 17…by season’s end, he had etched his name in several of the program’s top tens including at-bats (No. 10 with 643), runs scored (No. 7 with 142), hits (No. 10 with 207), triples (No. 5 with nine), and walks (No. 4 with 113).
2017 (Sophomore): The second-year centerfielder took his game to another level in a prolific sophomore campaign en route to All-GSAC honors…one of three players to start all of the team’s 64 games, he led the club in at-bats, runs scored, and walks, and tied for the team lead in hit by pitches…his 241 at-bats set a new single-season record for the program…led the GSAC in runs (73), scoring the third-most for a single-season in team history…lacing out 82 hits, second in conference play, he moved up to No. 3 on the single-season list…had 22 multi-hit games, featuring five, four-hit outings…strung together a memorable nine-game stretch from late March into early April when he hit .579 (22-38), including 4-4 and 4-6 outings against Simpson and Arizona Christian, respectively, on 3/21/17 and 3/25/17…was the catalyst in the Mustangs’ four-game sweep of the NAIA National Championship Opening Round, going 9-17 with seven runs scored…went 4-5 on consecutive days in the Opening Round against Webber International of Florida and Georgia Gwinnett, respectively.
2016 (Freshman): The talented freshman won the starting center field job out of training camp and became an outstanding contributor at the plate and a plus-fielder…hit at or near the top of the order the entire season, leading off 45 times in 57 starts…led the club with nine total sacrifices and was second in batting average (.333) and hits (70)…strung together 23 multi-hit games, including five three-hit games…enjoyed an outstanding three-game series vs. Vanguard in February went he went a combined 7-14…one of those hits was a grand slam in an 8-2 win on 2/20/16….scored a season-high three runs twice…had a season-best six putouts vs. Bethesda on 2/2/16.
