2019-20 (Senior): Cross Country... Earned All-GSAC honors for the third-straight season, finishing ninth at the GSAC Championships in a time of 26:31.3… Recorded his season-best time of 25:24.3 at the William Jessup Warrior Invitational where he finished 26th... Track & Field... Ran the 3000 meters at the Rossi Relays, finishing 37th in a time of 8:55.80.

2018-2019 (Junior): Cross Country ... Nunez’s seventh-place finish at the GSAC Championships was key in delivering TMU’s ninth-straight GSAC title … completed the race in 26 minutes, 16.1 seconds and earned his second All-GSAC honor … ran a career-best mark of 25:24.1 at the Warrior Invitational on Oct. 20 … finished 144th at NAIA nationals. ... Track and Field … posted a career-best time in the 5,000 at GSAC Championships in Santa Barbara, coming in fifth place (15:28.65).

2017-2018 (Sophomore): Cross Country ... Finished ninth (25 minutes, 29.5 seconds) at the Golden State Athletic Conference Championships on Nov. 4, helping the Mustangs secure their eighth straight conference title ... earned his first All-GSAC honor ... placed 139 that NAIA nationals (26.34.2) ... competed in six races, his best time coming at GSAC Championships ... Track and Field ... ran career-bests in the 3,000 steeplechase (9:47.97) and the 1,500 (4:09.10) at back-to-back meets in late March and early April ... finished fifth in the steeplechase at GSAC Championships (10:22.19) ... was 10th in the 5K at GSAC Championships (16:33.57). 

2016-2017 (Freshman): Cross Country ... Finished 21st (26:00.2) at GSAC Championships on Nov. 5 ... competed in five races, recording his best time at conference championships ... Track and Field ... was fourth in the 10K at GSAC Championships, finishing in a career-best 35:25.00 ... competed in six meets altogether, posting a career-best in the 5K at the Ben Brown Invite in mid-March (15:48.30). 

Liberty Charter HS (Lemon Grove, Calif.): Finished seventh at the CIF San Diego Section Division 5 Championships (2015) ... went on to compete at the state meet ... placed 24th at San Diego Section D5 meet (2014). 

Personal: Joshua Brian Nunez ... parents are Javier and Dawn ... siblings are Jesse and Jillian ... said he chose Master's because "I saw how devoted the teachers and athletic programs were to bettering individuals' faiths, as well as prepare them for the future. I know that under the Bible-centered community at TMU I will grow immensely in my Christian faith and that is something I really value about Master's."
