2017 (Junior): Finished second (18 minutes, 1.8 seconds) at the Golden State Athletic Conference Championships on Nov. 4, leading Master's to the first conference title in program history ... earned the second All-GSAC honor of her career ... placed 24th – best of any Mustang in 2017 – at NAIA nationals in a time of 18:02.7 ... finish was good for her first NAIA All-American honor ... ran a season-best time of 17:53.8 at The Master's University XC Invitational on Sept. 30, good for second place and the program's third-fastest mark ever at the event ... her time at the UC Riverside Invitational (18:08.8) was the program's third fastest ever at the event. 

2016 (Sophomore): Finished sixth (17:48.4) at the GSAC Championships on Nov. 5 ... was the third Mustang to cross the finish line ... placed 48th in her second appearance at NAIA nationals (18:13.2) ... her time of 18:51.2 at the Mark Covert Invitational was the program's third fastest ever at the event.

2015 (Freshman): Ran a season best time of 18:36.0 at the Mustang Challenge in Santa Clarita's Central Park on Sept. 19, good for 29th place ... finished 257th at NAIA nationals (20:18.0).

College of the Canyons (Santa Clarita, Calif.): 2015 JC All-American in the 1,500 and 5,000 meters. 

Hart HS (Santa Clarita, Calif.): Competed in both cross country and track and field. 

Personal: Full name is Mikala Nicole Fairchild ... parents are Anthony and Lori ... siblings are Ryan, James, William and Meghan ... of choosing Master's, she said "once I took that first step onto campus, I knew that TMU was where I needed to be. It was quite the journey to get here, but God opened all the doors to make it possible for me to call Master's my home. I look forward to making long-lasting friendships, growing in my faith, and being a part of an athletic program that not only strives to improve its athletes, but to bring each member closer to Christ."
