2019 (Senior): The senior shortstop’s final collegiate season was a jaw-dropper as he put up numbers never seen before in program history and rarely seen on the NAIA level…earned All-GSAC honors for the second year in a row and was named GSAC Player of the Year and NAIA National Player of the Year…shattered multiple team offensive records and established new ones for home runs (36), runs scored (83), RBI (99), total bases (206), and slugging percentage (1.096)…tied for the team lead with 27 multi-hit games…produced a team-high 28 multi-RBI outings…rapped out a season-high four hits twice: going 4-5 vs. Ottawa (AZ) on April 24 and 4-4 against Westmont in a GSAC Tournament game on May 1…drove in a season-best five runs in each of those games and against Westmont on April 29…hit two or more home runs in a game six times, highlighted by three vs. Ottawa (AZ) on April 24…had a monster series vs. Bethesda, April 4-6, when he went a combined 10-16 with five home runs and 13 RBI…went 7-11 in four GSAC Tournament games with four homers and 15 RBI…finished his four-year career as the program’s all-time leader in home runs (67), RBIs (231), runs scored (224), triples (15), and total bases (534)...went 15-28 at the plate with 11 home runs, 29 RBIs and 15 walks during his final nine games as a Mustang...slashed .536/.674/1.750 during that span.
2018 (Junior):  An upward offensive trajectory, built on a quick, powerful bat, led the junior shortstop to All-GSAC honors in another very productive campaign…paced the club in six offensive categories, including runs scored (43), home runs (11), rbi (44), total bases (104), slugging percentage (.584), and walks (30)…had 16 multi-hit games, including a quartet of three-hit outings…drove in four runs twice, at Menlo on March 23 and vs. Bethesda on April 24…scored two or more runs in a game 11 times, including three vs. Menlo on Feb. 10…climbed into the program’s Top Ten in home runs (No.4 with 31), total bases (No. 7 with 328), walks (No. 8 with 91), runs scored (No. 8 with 141), and rbi (No. 9 with 132)…paced the club with 126 assists.

2017 (Sophomore): Enjoyed another solid year at the plate while adjusting to another position on the infield…started all of the club’s 64 games and posted career-highs in nearly every offensive category…paced the club in triples (4) and stolen bases (14)…finished second on the team in at-bats, runs scored, home runs, walks, and hit-by-pitches…set a personal high with 20 multi-hit games, highlighted by a career-best four hits (4-5) vs. Georgia Gwinnett in a NAIA National Championship Opening Round-clinching game on 5/17/17…banged out three hits in a game five times…homered twice and drove in a career-high five runs against William Jessup on 4/29/17…drew two or more walks in a game seven times…flashed the leather at shortstop to the tune of a school-record 206 assists…threw out a season-best eight runners vs. Vanguard on 2/17/17.

2016 (Freshman): The first-year collegian showed his versatility in the field and displayed a potent bat as he earned a regular job out of training camp en route to 56 starts…began the season at second base but when a need arose in the outfield he made the move with grace and a desire to produce…he did that to the tune of a .297 batting average with 37 rbi…had 13 multi-hit games, including a three-hit outing vs. Providence Christian on 4/16/16…finished fifth on the team in rbi, driving in two or more runs in a game 10 times…drove in a season-high four runs with a grand slam at Menlo on 4/9/16…had four more games with three rbi…went 2-3 with two rbi in a NAIA World Series game vs. Science & Arts of Oklahoma on 5/28/16.Â

Murrieta Valley HS: A three-year varsity performer for the Nighthawks, he toggled between second and third base…enjoyed an outstanding senior campaign, hitting .400 with two home runs and 15 rbi en route to All-Southwestern League honors.Â
Personal: Full name is Aaron Winston Shackelford ... parents are Rod and Beth ... siblings are Ryan, Reid, Andrew and Mariah ... as for choosing Master's, he said, "I'm looking forward to a Christ-centered school experience."
