The Master's University women's soccer team kept its momentum rolling Tuesday evening, blanking Westcliff 3-0 at Reese Field to move to 2-1-1 on the season.

Maddy Traylor got things started in the 17th minute, finishing off a chance for her first goal of the game. Zaria Echemendia doubled the lead just before halftime, converting a pass from Bryanna Elias in the 39th minute to send the Mustangs into the break up 2-0.

Westcliff had opportunities to get back into it in the second half, but Valery Cruz's penalty kick attempt sailed wide in the 64th minute, keeping the door shut. TMU made the Warriors pay a few minutes later when Traylor collected her second goal of the night, this one set up by Saylor Atkinson, to put the game away at 3-0 in the 67th minute.

Traylor finished with five shots and two goals, while Breanna Fajardo led the way with seven shots of her own. The Mustangs put together a strong performance in front of the net, out-shooting Westcliff 20-7 for the match and putting 11 shots on goal compared to just two for the Warriors. Katie Snow was solid in net, coming up with two saves to secure the clean sheet.

It was a complete effort from start to finish, with TMU controlling possession for long stretches and limiting Westcliff to just a handful of quality looks all night.

The Mustangs will look to keep the streak going Friday when they open GSAC play at home against La Sierra.
