Box Score The Master's women's volleyball team picked up their second conference win in as many tries with a solid 25-14, 25-15, 25-17 win over the La Sierra Golden Eagles Wednesday in Riverside, Calif.

As a team, the Lady Mustangs (9-1, 2-0) hit .343 for the match, with a decisive advantage in kills (46-30), blocks (7-3) and aces (6-2). TMU held the Goldeen Eagles to a .106 attack percentage and forced 19 turnovers in the three sets.

"Our offensive production was through the roof," said TMU Head Coach McKenna Hafner. "That was a really big positive, and it wasn't in just one position but it was in every position. We got our middle blockers involved, which made a big difference."

A point of emphasis in practice has been the team's consistency that comes from every position on the floor.

"I liked that we played very very steady and played our standard of volleyball," Hafner said. "We've been talking a lot about our consistency and being the best we can be. We talked about our first touch on the ball and I thought we really handled that well tonight."

Bella Amet led the attack with 14 kills in the three sets, an average of 4.67 per set. She was followed by Macy Gebhards with eight and McKenna Brady with seven. Kate Wagner dished 22 assists with Cassidy Clark, rotating in every set, added 15.

"I thought Kate Wagner played really well tonight," Coach Hafner said. "She was on top of her game and really distributed the ball well."

The Master's will be back home in The MacArthur Center on Friday when they host the Hope International Royals. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
