The Master's men's basketball finished out the Fultz Memorial Classic in Glendale, Ariz. with their second straight loss, this time to the Corban (OR) Warriors 67-55 Saturday.
The Mustangs (3-3) struggled with their shots from behind the 3-point line, going 0 for 12 in the first half and just 2 for 10 in the second to finish the game 2 for 22 (9%).
"Humbling weekend for all involved in our program," TMU Head Coach Kelvin Starr said. "We have a lot of work to do."
Overall TMU shot 19 for 55 (35%) from the field, but they allowed the Warriors to hit 23 of 49 (47%). Corban also won the rebounding battle, pulling down 46 to The Master's 32.
The struggles also continued from the free throw line, as Master's went 15 of 28 (54%) from the line.
Jazen Guillory came off the bench to lead the Mustangs with 16 points before fouling out of the game.

The Master's will be back home on Friday to once again play the Warriors from Corban University, this time in The MacArthur Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
