Five players from the women's soccer team have been named to the All-GSAC team, with Breanna Fajardo getting added distinction as the Freshman of the Year.

In addition to Fajardo, Hannah Kopp and Kate Merical get their second all-conference honor, with Harmony Rohde and Kegan Brunnemann joining Fajardo for their first.

"Naming these women as All-GSAC has shown that we have players who are committed to upholding the legacy of this program, as well as possessing the desire to honor the Lord through their efforts both on and off the field," said TMU Head Coach Esteban Chavez. "Our desire for our program is to have women that live out Doulos (bondservant or slave for Christ) through the game of soccer, and these ladies do just that."

Fajardo, a freshman from El Monte, Calif., was third on the team in goals scored this season with seven, and her seven assists were the team high. Her best game came on Sept. 25 at Arizona Christian when she scored two goals and added a pair of assists in TMU's 5-1 win over the Firestorm.

For Kopp, her nod is her second after being named to the All-GSAC team in 2022. This season, her final with the Mustangs, Kopp scored three goals to bring her career total up to 17, and she added four more assists.

Merical's honor was her second in a row. The senior defender who is finishing out her career at TMU, scored four goals and added an assist during the regular season. But it was her strength on the back line that truly made her stand out on this team.

Sophomore Harmony Rohde springboarded herself in this her second year with The Master's after a tough first year that saw her suffer a season-ending injury very early in the year. Rohde led the team with nine goals scored and was second on the team with 58 shots, 31 of which were on goal.

Brunnemann distinguished herself as a midfielder in this her freshman year. She finished with five goals and a pair of assists.

The Master's will start the post-season on Friday when they host the Hope International Royals in the semifinals of the GSAC Championship Tournament. Game time is set for 1 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance through the conference, so click HERE to buy.
