It was a clean sweep for The Master's women's volleyball team in Fullerton, Calif. as the team defeated the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy of St. Louis in straight sets Saturday to finish the HIU Summer Slam tournament 4-0.

The Lady Mustangs (7-1) once again had stellar serving in the 25-8, 25-14, 25-19 win, collecting 19 aces in the three sets.

TMU now has 101 service aces in their first eight matches, which ranks them No. 2 in the NAIA and No. 4 with 3.16 aces per set.
"Our team had a great showing this weekend," said Head Coach Annett Davis. "It's been fun to see things coming together and the team continue to improve with each match."

Ruby Duncan led the squad with seven aces, with
Timberlie Miller adding five of her own. Duncan is now No. 1 in the country with 30 aces on the young season, while Miller is No. 2 with 28.

The Master's attack posted a .191 hitting percentage, with seven different players getting at least one kill.
McKenna Brady led the team with nine followed by
Cora Machado with eight. Seven different players were credited with assists, with
Sierra Hale collecting 12 and
Kaysa Brown earning 11.

The Master's next match will be their home opener this Tuesday, Aug. 29 against California Lutheran. Match is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
