There is no place like home.
Master's women's volleyball won their fourth-straight home match Tuesday night as they swept the visiting Hope International Royals in three sets.
As a team the Lady Mustangs (9-6 overall, 4-4 in GSAC) hit .311 for the match, collecting 36 kills against just eight hitting errors. They also added six blocks compared to the Royals three.
"We were happy that the starters played a pretty consistent match, which allowed us to play

Ellie Fraas and
Abby Blackwell to give them some playing experience," said Head Coach
Annett Davis. "Our younger girls are the future of TMU volleyball and we all get excited when they get an opportunity to shine."
The tone of the match was created in the first set when it was tied at 8-8. Master's
Natalie Collins went back to serve and generated three aces in the midst of six straight points to take control of the match. In total, TMU had eight aces in the three sets against just three service errors.
"One of the goals of this match was to serve tough to the area that I called," Davis said. "The girls were pretty spot on tonight."
Breanna Brooks had six kills in the first set on her way to a game-high ten,
Faith Tarver had six kills and both
Ruby Duncan and
Emily Clark added five.
Jessica Swenning was involved in four of the Mustangs' six total blocks.
"Our setters did a great job getting the ball to our middles who hit efficiently tonight," Davis said.
The Lady Mustangs look to keep the home streak alive Friday night as they host the Arizona Christian Firestorm in The MacArthur Center. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
