Awards:
  • GSAC Indoor Women's Volleyball Co-Coach of the Year (2020-21)

Highlights:
  • Davis enters her second season as TMU's Indoor Women's Volleyball head coach in 2021, after leading the Mustangs to a GSAC East Division title and a berth in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round during her first season.
  • She also enters her third year as the school's head beach volleyball coach in 2022.
  • In 2020-21, she coached the indoor program's first-ever GSAC Player of the Year and NAIA First Team All-American (Katie Emmerling) and the beach volleyball team's first-ever GSAC Pair of the Year (Katie Emmerling, Desi Brown).
  • She spent two seasons as an assistant coach with TMU's indoor women's team, helping the Mustangs win their first-ever GSAC regular season and tournament titles in 2018.
  • An athlete whose accomplishments span the college, professional and Olympic ranks, Davis was inducted into the UCLA Hall of Fame in 2015.
  • While a Bruin, she was named the Pac 10 Freshman of the Year (1991) and Player of the Year (1994), helping lead her team to a national title in her first season.
  • The two-time, first-team All-American went on to play professionally in Greece before earning a spot on the USA Olympic Team.
  • At the 2000 games in Sydney, Davis and her playing partner became the first African Americans to make the U.S. Olympic beach volleyball team (they placed fifth).
  • Davis is married to former TMU Swimming & Diving Head Coach Byron Davis. They have a son Mya and a daughter Victoria.
